DJI latest model sports a 1-inch sensor to take your aerial photography to new heights
DJI need no introduction, as their name has become synonymous with gimbals and drones.
The latest drone model Air 2S sports a 1-inch sensor for 20MP stills and 5.4K
video, which is absolutely dope, offering creators high-end performance on an
agile and portable drone. DJI kept the drone`s overall design and frame
compact and weighing below 600g.
The new quadcopter also features DJI`s MasterShots content creation tool,
improved autonomous object avoidance with new upward sensor, and 12km
range, which makes a package which will suit outdoor enthusiasts and
operators looking to capture professional-level footage of moving subjects
with a bit of help from the A.I.
The new f/2.8 camera, on a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, can capture 5.4K video
at 30fps or 4K at 60fps.
The flight time is a staggering 31 minutes, which for a drone is a luxury, as
we`re accustomed to 10 minutes or so, while maximum speed stands at 19m/s.
All four sensors at the front help the drone to avoid obstacles, like say in sparse woods, or simply stop and hover, while the return-to-home feature is still on board also on this model.
As usual for DJI, the drone is being offered in a standard and `Fly More` packs, the latter offering a total of three batteries, a charging hub, 4 ND filters and a bag.
The DJI Air 2S comes at around €999, while the Fly More Combo has a price tag for €1,299.
DJI listened to the fans, and combined camera, sensors, battery and speed in
one sweet drone, ideal for enthusiasts and creators.
